Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise network engineering (campus and/or data center) with strong hands-on skills
Responsible for the delivery of highly available and high performing campus and data center networks in support of clients, Financial Advisors and home-office personnel.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties
- Update and maintain lab systems, including but not limited to virtual workstations, physical workstations, domain controllers, Spirent, Server clusters, VMware, data storage, firewall, F5 APM, management network, and console servers.
- Review and update standard documentation for the lab systems.
- Provide hands-on support for network teams utilizing the infrastructure lab.
- Work with hardware including set up, configuration, installation, removal, and shipments.
- Manage network and lab equipment inventory of cabling, labels, tools, SFPs and other assets.
- Support carrier technologies across multiple projects, ensuring proper design and implementation to meet requirements.
- Execute and document network changes through ticketing systems, adhering to change management protocols to ensure traceability of all infrastructure modifications.
- Assist teams with opening lab tickets for requesting assistance in the lab.
- Align with Technology and Firm objectives and provide strategic direction and technical leadership.
Provide technical mentorship and guidance to foster a strong and collaborative team environment.
