The Role
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major civil and transportation infrastructure project in Riyadh. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and proven experience managing large, complex infrastructure works from planning through execution and handover. Key Responsibilities • Manage the full project lifecycle including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out • Oversee civil and transportation works such as roads, highways, bridges, utilities, and related infrastructure • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and stakeholders • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans • Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, project specifications, and contractual requirements • Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies • Lead site teams, subcontractors, and consultants to achieve project objectives • Review and approve technical submissions, method statements, and shop drawings • Ensure HSE standards are implemented and maintained on site • Prepare regular progress reports and present updates to senior management
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a senior Project Manager with a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering and extensive experience delivering large-scale civil and transportation infrastructure projects. They bring 10–15+ years of proven project management experience, preferably within Saudi Arabia or the wider Middle East, managing complex road, bridge, utility, and transportation works. Qualifications & Experience • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory) • Minimum 10–15 years of experience in large-scale civil and transportation infrastructure projects • Proven experience managing major infrastructure projects in the Middle East, preferably in Saudi Arabia • Strong knowledge of roads, bridges, utilities, and transportation systems • Experience working with FIDIC contracts and government authorities • Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred Skills & Competencies • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities • Solid understanding of project controls, cost management, and scheduling • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
