Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Skilled in influencing decision-making through strong communication and negotiation capabilities.
Data-Driven Insights - Experienced in data analysis with a proven ability to extract insights that guide discussions with application teams.
Infrastructure Expertise - Deep knowledge of platform infrastructure including operating systems, databases, and middleware, with hands-on experience in planning, implementing, and maintaining IT solutions.
Technical Debt & Optimization - Proficient in managing technical debt and driving infrastructure estate optimization, including legacy product remediation and governance setup to prioritize strategic adoption.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation - Actively recommends quality improvements, stays current with technical trends, and applies innovative solutions to enhance business processes and maintain KPI/KRI targets.
Some other highly valued skills may include below:
Cloud & Containerization Expertise - Strong knowledge of containerization, particularly in influencing migrations and tech debt remediation on the Barclays Container Platform. Familiar with AWS products to support strategic adoption and modernization efforts.
Middleware & Technical Remediation - Skilled in leveraging middleware product knowledge to drive tech debt remediation and promote strategic product adoption across platforms.
Analytical & Automation Skills - Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, with additional capabilities in Python, SQL, Jira, and Microsoft Power Automate tools for process automation and reporting.
Agility & Independence - Demonstrated ability to manage fast-changing priorities and multitask effectively with minimal supervision.
Global Collaboration - Experienced in working with distributed global teams, both within and outside formal reporting lines, ensuring alignment and delivery across geographies.
