Job Summary and Qualifications

This position supports the mission of Presbyterian/St Luke’s Medical Center of optimizing the quality of life of all those served by expanding beyond the traditional focus on medical needs to the needs of the whole person. Under the supervision of the Director of IC or IC clinical nurse coordinator, performs scheduling for the Adult Infusion Center. When need arises, will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

II. Position Requirements:

A. Licensure/Certification/Registration: None

B. Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Formal training course in medical terminology or equivalent job experience.

C. Experience: Previous clerical and customer service experience preferred.

D. Special Qualifications: Demonstrates good organizational skills. Sufficient knowledge of medical terminology and technical terms to accurately transcribe physician’s orders and to complete requisitions. Displays appropriate judgment and problem-solving skills. Communicates positively with all internal and external customers. Basic keyboard and computer skills. Meditech.
