Job Summary:
Methodist Healthcare, the leading provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas, is expanding and looking for an acute care nurse practitioner or physician assistant to become part of our established and collaborative team in San Antonio, TX.
Job Details:-
Responsible for daily rounding as well as triaging and completing new inpatient consults. (Including CVICU, Telemetry floor, or both.)

Order and facilitate diagnostic studies, including but not limited to echocardiograms, ECGs, and stress tests, as well as appropriate laboratory studies.

Explain necessity, preparation, risks and benefits of scheduled diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to the patient and family.
Qualified Candidates:-
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner

Cardiology experience preferred

New graduates with a background in cardiology will be considered

Texas license eligible
