Inside Sales Account Manager

Smart Meter is the nation’s leading supplier of cellular-enabled health monitoring devices, platforms, and services to the Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) industry. The company is seeking a proactive and results driven Inside Sales Account Manager to close sales and manage customer accounts. This role is responsible for closing, selling, and managing a portfolio of healthcare provider customer accounts such as smaller physician practices and clinics, home health agencies, and Long-Term Care facilities. The Inside Sales Account Manager will sign new customer accounts to platform and device contracts, reactivate dormant accounts, increase device, platform, and services revenue, and ensure long-term success of customer accounts through frequent engagement and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

  • Account Management: Own a portfolio of approximately RPM accounts, including 10 active accounts, 30 new accounts, and 30 dormant accounts
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with accounts to develop account-specific growth plans and troubleshoot barriers to adoption
  • Performance Monitoring: Track account performance, identify drop-offs, and implement corrective strategies
  • Relationship Building: Serve as the primary point of contact for all account needs, ensuring satisfaction and retention
  • Client Engagement: Maintain regular communication with active accounts and initiate monthly outreach to dormant accounts
  • Device Volume Growth & RPM Platform Sales: Be an expert in the Smart Meter portfolio of Platforms, Devices, and Services and identify the correct portfolio solution opportunities for prospects and customers to expand their partnership with Smart Meter
  • Meet or Exceed: Monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs
  • Identify Opportunities: Leverage customer relationships to recommend relevant new products and upgrades of service solutions
  • New/Re-Engaged Business: Build and manage sales pipeline of new opportunities via dormant accounts, sales qualified leads, and conferences.
  • CRM Management: Log all interactions, updates, and performance metrics accurately in the CRM system

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of inside sales or account management experience in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling platforms in the healthcare industry
  • Demonstrated experience selling medical devices or technology products, preferably to providers, clinics, Long Term Care facilities, healthcare systems, or RPM companies
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of accounts and drive measurable results
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
  • Self-starter with a passion for client success and RPM innovation
  • Bachelor’s degree: Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
