As an Inside Sales National Account Representative, you’ll help expand Tyndale’s reach and impact by building relationships that connect our books and Bibles with retailers and readers everywhere. What You'll Do

  • Sell new products to meet/exceed Tyndale sales goals via phone, Zoom, and CRM email sequences
  • Conduct sales efforts in line with new product releases, participating in three annual New Product Presentation conferences.
  • Create seasonal catalogs, recommend buy quantities, and coordinate author signings
  • Provide quantifiable feedback on sales potential and content strength in departmental meetings
  • Grow backlist distribution and sales in existing and new accounts; partner with National Account Managers on larger accounts while independently managing smaller ones
  • Take accountability for territory and account sales results; leverage coaching and support staff to maximize efforts
  • Prospect, engage, and develop new business opportunities independently
  • Build expertise in promotional sales programs and communicate key updates to buyers
  • Understand financial models and product profitability tolerances
  • Recommend online training to account staff as needed to support customers
  • Identify creative approaches to market and sell Tyndale products remotely
  • Maintain and expand technology proficiency for effective performance
  • Use HubSpot CRM to track sales calls and follow-ups; utilize Edelweiss and Datalink for account presentations
  • Maintain working knowledge of Tyndale terms and discount policies
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding territory needs
  • Respond promptly to emails and voicemails from customers and internal departments
  • Complete expense reports in a timely manner

Skills and Qualifications Needed

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Long term desire to grow in a sales environment. Direct-sales or tele-sales experience is a benefit
  • Skilled in building effective relationships with trade customers and Tyndale personnel across departments
  • Self-starter able to multi-task and manage time effectively; demonstrates initiative to identify and close sales opportunities
  • Technically adept; able to use or learn multiple tools and channels (e.g., Microsoft Office, CRM such as HubSpot, JDE) to drive sales
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to travel up to 5% for key meetings or training events
  • Personal alignment with and adherence to the Bible as God’s Word, and agreement with our Statement of Faith
