Inside Sales Representative, Elatec – West Coast (PST Time Zone)
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving prospecting efforts, managing leads, and providing comprehensive pre‑ and post‑sales support to Elatec Regional Sales Managers. As a Sales Support Specialist, you will coordinate proposals, respond to customer inquiries, process orders, and help onboard new clients, ensuring a seamless sales experience from first contact to ongoing account management.

What You Will Do:
PROSPECTING AND LEAD MANAGEMENT (15%)
Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential customers through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
Inbound Lead Response: Promptly respond to inbound leads and inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
Follow-up: Schedule and conduct follow-up activities to nurture leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
SUPPORT FOR REGIONAL SALES MANAGERS (85%)
Pre-Sales Support:
Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals, quotes, and presentations for potential clients.
Product Information: Provide detailed product information and respond to customer queries to support the sales process.
Scheduling: Coordinate and schedule meetings, demos, and presentations for the Regional Sales Managers.
Research: Conduct market research to gather information on competitors, industry trends, and potential clients.
Post-Sales Support:
Order Processing: Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and follow up on order status.
Customer Onboarding: Assist in onboarding new customers, ensuring they have all necessary information and resources.
Issue Resolution: Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.
Excellent Product Knowledge: Work collaboratively with technical team to assist customers in technical product understanding.
Customer Training: Provide training and support to customers on product usage and best practices.
Account Management:
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Renewals and Upselling: Identify opportunities for renewals and upselling additional products or services to existing customers.
Feedback Collection: Gather customer feedback and provide insights to the sales and product development teams to improve offerings and customer experience.
Deliverables: Able to collect and present forecasts and funnel activity at weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
Team Player:
Work collaboratively with Regional Sales Managers, Business Development and Marketing teams and all other internal operations to support the sales team goals
Always represent Elatec professionally, working positively and effectively with internal resources and external customers.
What You Need to Succeed:
Minimum of six months of demonstrated successful experience in a B2B sales role.
High School Diploma or GED required, Technical or Marketing degree preferred.
Ability to understand and analyze customer requirements.
Highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Fluency in verbal and written English.
Proficiency with a CRM system; Salesforce experience preferred.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency using a PC, including a spreadsheet program (i.e. Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
Motivated and self-directed, with the ability to appreciate and meet aggressive goals.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Flexibility, with the demonstrated ability to easily adapt to changes within the work environment, delays, or unexpected events.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Dependability.
Professional demeanor with a high level of respect for others and accountability for one’s own actions.
Bilingual Spanish fluency preferred.
Candidate must live in or be willing to support a PST schedule.
