Inside Sales Representative/Telemarketer (Outdoor/Sporting Goods Experience Preferred)

Job Overview
LimbSaver, a leading global manufacturer is seeking an energetic and motivated Inside Sales Representative with a passion for outdoor and sporting goods to join our dynamic sales team. Our primary markets include Archery, Crossbow, Firearm, Tactical, and Law Enforcement accessories, along with a small assortment of Home and Garden products; new markets are evolving. In this role, you will be the driving force behind building strong customer relationships through outbound and warm calling, providing expert product knowledge, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm for outdoor activities combined with your sales skills will help us expand our market presence and serve our customers with enthusiasm and professionalism. Knowledge of outdoor sports and recreation is preferred, but candidates with experience outside the sporting goods industry are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Manage Dealer Accounts:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retailers, providing product information, managing orders, and supporting dealers however possible.

Appointment Setting:

Schedule follow-up calls and or Zoom meetings with buyers, owners, and decision-makers.

Database Management:

Accurately record customer feedback, contact details, and follow-up tasks.

Order Entry:

Ensure accurate and timely entry of all received orders and provide customers with timely order status acknowledgments.

Department Support:

Assist as backup to our Customer Service team during breaks, lunches, vacations, and/or during high seasonal sales months.

Reporting:

Prepare and submit weekly call reports to senior management, including account assessments, call logs, and a detailed overview.

Account Updates:

Proactively provide accounts with all resources, including annual pricing, new product releases, limited-time sales, seasonal closeouts, and discontinued products, etc.

Resilience:

Ability to manage calls with a professional and positive attitude.

Communication:

Clear, professional phone etiquette and the ability to pivot conversations based on customer needs.

Organization:

Strong multitasking skills to document calls while maintaining an engaging conversation.

Technical Consultations:

Provide expert advice on high-performance gear, explaining technical features and innovations to help buyers make informed decisions.

Market Intelligence:

Monitor trends in outdoor recreation and competitive landscapes to provide product development teams and management with current trends and relevant industry feedback.

Industry Knowledge:

Personal or professional experience in outdoor sports (e.g., hunting, shooting, fishing, hiking, or team sports) is preferred, but not required. Candidates with B2B experience are encouraged to apply, regardless of industry or product category experience.

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally within the sporting goods or shooting sports sectors. Or, 1–2+ years of telemarketing experience, or business development.
  • Strong phone presence and comfortable with making dozens of warm calls per day.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites, CRM & B2B software, virtual meeting platforms, and corporate productivity tools.
  • Dependable with a commitment to succeed.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
