Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Inspection Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of UAE construction site experience, specifically related to scaffolding and temporary works.

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting independent third-party inspections, reviewing engineering drawings and structural design calculations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and representing the company during external audits and accreditation assessments.

Key Responsibilities: Inspection & Certification

• Conduct independent third-party inspections of:
• Mobile Scaffolds
• Fixed Scaffolds
• Falsework / Temporary Works
• Other equipment within the company’s accreditation scope
• Verify compliance with approved drawings, structural design calculations, and applicable UAE regulations.
• Ensure installations meet safety, stability, and load-bearing requirements.

Technical Review

• Review scaffold design drawings and structural load/stability calculations.
• Assess compliance with relevant standards and codes.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare and issue inspection reports, certificates, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Maintain accurate inspection records in line with company Quality Management System (QMS).
• Ensure documentation aligns with ISO/IEC 17020 requirements.

Compliance & Audit Representation

• Ensure full compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 procedures and internal QMS.
• Attend and represent the company during EIAC and client external audits.
• Maintain independence, impartiality, and technical integrity in line with Type A inspection body requirements.

Requirements Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of UAE construction site experience related to scaffolding systems and temporary works.
• Experience with a third-party inspection body is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of scaffold systems and temporary works.
• Ability to review engineering drawings and structural calculations.
• Familiarity with UAE regulations and safety standards.

Other Requirements

• Strong reporting and communication skills.
• Professional integrity and ability to work independently.
• UAE Driving License preferred.
