Inspection Engineer Sharjah

Job Description:
The Lifting Engineer is responsible for inspecting and testing lifting equipment and accessories to ensure safety, compliance, and operational reliability in line with UAE regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect lifting equipment such as cranes, forklifts, hoists, and related machinery.
• Examine lifting accessories including slings, shackles, hooks, chains, and wire ropes.
• Identify hazards, defects, and non-compliance during inspections.
• Perform load testing and functional testing as per applicable standards.
• Prepare and issue inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documents.
• Coordinate inspection activities with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, EIAC requirements, and international standards (BS, ISO, EN).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proven experience working under EIAC-accredited inspection activities.
• Relevant experience in lifting equipment inspection and testing.
• Good knowledge of UAE regulations and international standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
