Inspector - Electrical

Responsibilities :

• Conduct thorough inspections of electrical installations in various types of buildings to ensure compatibility with national and local standards (electrical Egyptian codes , NEC , IEC …etc.).
• Review specifications and other construction documents to verify compliance with approved plans.
• Inspect electrical systems ,equipment and components, including wiring ,raceways ,electrical panels ,transformers ,RMUs ,lighting and earthing system.
• Perform electrical systems safety testing including , main earth network measurement ,earth continuity test, cables and panels insulation test and RCD/earth leakage rating and time testing.
• Identify any electrical installation that violate safety ,deficiency and standards violations.
• Prepare a detailed inspection reports and communicate finding with relevant stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering.
• Experience with various electrical tests and testing equipment.
• Knowledge and the ability to search and hunt any required information from various electrical standards.
• Infrared Thermographer.
• Owning a car is preferred.
