We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced GRP/GRVE/GRE/RTRP Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in composite piping fabrication, installation, inspection, and testing within both shop and site environments. This role requires deep technical knowledge of international standards and a strong ability to communicate inspection outcomes clearly and professionally.
- Conduct inspections for GRP/FRP/RTRP fabrication, erection, and testing activities in both workshop and site settings.
- Verify compliance with applicable international standards (ISO, ASTM, AWWA, DEP).
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, TPIs, and client representatives.
- Ensure project quality requirements are met throughout all stages of production and installation.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years full-time experience in GRP/FRP/RTRP fabrication, erection, inspection, and testing.
- Experience must include both shop and site inspections.
- Prior experience as a Third-Party Inspector (TPI) or client-approved inspector on the EPIC (Engineering, Procurement, Installation & Commissioning) side.
- Strong working knowledge of composite manufacturing processes and the following standards:
- ISO 14692 Parts 1, 2, 3, 4 (2017 Edition)
- AWWA C950
- Relevant ASTM Standards (e.g., D1598, D1599, D2992, D2563, D2583, D2584, D3567, etc.)
- DEP 31.40.10.19 Gen
- Valid training certificate in accordance with:
- ISO 14692 Part 4 (2017 Edition) Annex C
- DEP 31.40.10.19 Gen
- Strong proficiency in technical reporting and constructive communication.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, QA/QC procedures, and international standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
