Inspector (Water)

To supervise and inspect plumbing and water installation activities, ensuring all work is completed in compliance with approved standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide plumbing installation teams on-site to ensure efficient execution of work
• Inspect water and plumbing installations to ensure compliance with quality standards and local regulations
• Monitor daily progress of installation activities and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Coordinate with contractors, technicians, and other stakeholders to resolve site-related issues
• Identify and troubleshoot technical problems related to plumbing systems and water connections
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulatory requirements at all times
• Verify proper installation of water meters and connections in line with local standards
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, work progress, and site activities
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports and relevant documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant plumbing field experience
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or site inspection role

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and water distribution networks
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and water meter connection standards
• Ability to supervise teams and manage on-site operations
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to prepare reports and maintain documentation
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety compliance

• Experience working on infrastructure or municipality projects
