Role Summary

The Inspector - Wildlife & Regulatory Compliance will conduct inspections at wildlife markets, border points, and other regulated sites to ensure compliance with environmental laws and wildlife protection regulations. The Inspector will document findings, report violations, and support the enforcement team to maintain high standards of environmental compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections at wildlife markets, border points, and related sites
• Ensure compliance with environmental and wildlife protection laws and regulations
• Document violations and prepare accurate reports for management
• Coordinate with the enforcement and administrative teams for follow-up actions
• Maintain proper records and inspection logs
• Support training and implementation of inspection procedures when required

Skills & Competencies

• Attention to detail and strong observational skills
• Basic report writing and documentation skills
• Ability to follow established procedures and compliance protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work in the field and travel to inspection sites
• Valid driving license (required for traveling to inspection locations)

Requirements Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Zoology, Veterinary Science, or a related discipline
• Minimum 1 year of experience, ideally in inspections or environmental compliance
