Job Overview

We are launching a Phoenix-based Instagram account inspired by the popular local discovery page West Chester Views (instagram.com/westchesterviews). This new page will highlight the best restaurants, hidden gems, events, local businesses, and lifestyle content across Phoenix.

We are hiring an Instagram Content Creator + Growth Manager to run the account day-to-day — but this role is both content creation and sales. In addition to filming, editing, posting, and engaging with the audience, this person will be responsible for building relationships with local businesses and selling paid content features. This includes pitching businesses to collaborate on promotional Reels (where the business pays for the video feature and the post is published as a collaboration). The goal is to grow the page into a trusted local brand while actively monetizing it through sponsored content partnerships.

This position includes free housing at one of our luxury apartment communities in downtown Phoenix (The Maeve Central Station, or Anova Central Station) - valued at approximately $2,500/month - plus a generous performance-based revenue split tied directly to the paid business features and sponsorships you help secure. Based on achievable KPIs and the proven success of similar local accounts, estimated earnings can reach $7,000/month once the page gains traction and consistent partnerships are established.

You will also receive direct mentorship and training from the creator behind West Chester Views, including strategy support, editing guidance, and growth coaching.

Have an Existing Phoenix Instagram Page?

If you already run a Phoenix-based Instagram account with an established following and are interested in this role, we are open to purchasing your existing account and rebranding it as part of this opportunity. This option is ideal for creators who have already built local traction and want to scale with additional resources and support.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

• Film short-form videos around Phoenix (primarily using a phone)
• Edit videos for Instagram Reels (CapCut, Meta Edits, or similar)
• Create engaging content featuring restaurants, businesses, events, and local experiences
• Post consistently (goal: daily or every other day)
• Batch content efficiently through scheduled filming sessions

Social Media Management

• Publish Instagram Reels and posts consistently
• Engage with followers by responding to comments and DMs
• Stay current on trending formats, audio, and Instagram updates
• Help grow the page through strong community engagement and content strategy

Growth & Strategy

• Implement growth tactics such as geotagging, collaborations, trend participation, and posting consistency
• Track performance and optimize content based on analytics
• Participate in strategy check-ins and mentorship calls

Business Outreach & Monetization (REQUIRED)

• Proactively reach out to local Phoenix businesses to pitch collaborations and paid content features
• Sell sponsored Reel packages where businesses pay for a professional video feature and collaborative post
• You will be provided with proven pricing packages, pitch materials, and sales collateral (flyers, decks, templates, etc.)
• Forge Apollo will act as your back-end support team, handling invoicing, payment processing, contracts, and administrative logistics — allowing you to stay focused on outreach, relationships, and content creation
• Conduct cold outreach through Instagram DMs, email, phone calls, and in-person visits
• Build long-term relationships with restaurants, gyms, salons, shops, and other local businesses
• Help secure ongoing partnerships and sponsorships to consistently monetize and grow the account

Apartment Community Feature Content

• Create recurring content highlighting two apartment communities
• Capture tours, amenities, lifestyle shots, and property highlights
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule for apartment-related content

Training & Support Provided

This is not a “figure it out alone” position. You will receive ongoing mentorship, training, and support including:

• Content strategy coaching
• Editing guidance and feedback
• Instagram growth strategy support
• Monetization and outreach coaching
• Regular check-ins and support via call/text during the first few months

After approximately 3–4 months, the role is expected to become more self-sufficient with occasional support and check-ins.

Required Qualifications

• Experience creating short-form content (Instagram Reels / TikTok style)
• Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Meta Edits, Premiere, etc.)
• Comfortable filming on a phone (preferred) or camera
• Strong understanding of Instagram and how content performs
• Reliable transportation around Phoenix
• Willingness to consistently create content (4–7 posts per week minimum)
• Willingness to cold approach businesses for filming and partnerships (This is a requirement for the role.)
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently

Preferred / Bonus Qualifications

• Comfortable being on camera (not required, but a plus)
• Experience growing an Instagram page
• Sales, cold outreach, or customer acquisition experience
• Marketing experience

Time Commitment

This role is flexible but requires consistency. Most successful candidates will spend:

• 1–3 hours per day, OR
• 2–3 content batching sessions per week (3–5 hours each)
