Responsibilities

• Assist lead technicians with installation, repair, and maintenance of HVAC systems, refrigeration units, plumbing fixtures, and related mechanical equipment.
• Support the setup of schematics and HVAC design plans on-site to ensure accurate system placement and configuration.
• Handle basic equipment repair tasks using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment under supervision.
• Aid in the inspection of systems using technical diagrams and schematics to verify proper installation according to specifications.
• Help with field service tasks including troubleshooting issues with air conditioning units, boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, and other mechanical components.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols during equipment handling and installation activities.
• Support property maintenance efforts by assisting with general repairs and system upgrades as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites, service technician roles, or property maintenance is preferred.
• Basic mechanical knowledge including HVAC/R systems, plumbing, refrigeration, boilers, and appliance repair.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret HVAC design plans accurately.
• Experience with tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair instruments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R certifications is advantageous but not required.
• Strong willingness to learn new skills in field service environments involving air conditioning systems, equipment repair, welding, and maintenance tasks. Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
