Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installation Engineer to handle the installation, commissioning, and testing of EV chargers and related electrical systems at customer sites. The role involves fieldwork, coordination with clients, and ensuring installations meet safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install EV chargers (AC/DC) and associated electrical infrastructure at residential, commercial, and public locations
• Conduct site surveys and assess electrical requirements before installation
• Perform wiring, cabling, earthing, and panel connections as per standards
• Commission and test installed equipment to ensure proper functionality
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, and vendors for smooth execution
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide technical support during deployment
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company SOPs
• Maintain installation reports, checklists, and site documentation
• Train customers on basic operation and safety guidelines (if required)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / BE / BTech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and load calculations
• Basic understanding of EV charging technology (AC & DC chargers preferred)
• Ability to read electrical drawings and installation manuals
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-site
• Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Preferred Skills

• Experience in EV chargers, solar, power electronics, or industrial equipment installation
• Knowledge of safety standards, earthing, and electrical codes
• Experience working with field service or installation teams
