Polar Shades Inc. is seeking full-time Installation Technicians to join our growing team in Southern Nevada. Installation Technicians play an essential role in ensuring our shade systems are installed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

Polar Shades Sun Control is one of the largest roller shade manufacturing facilities in the United States. Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, we manufacture interior and exterior manual and motorized shades for residential, commercial, healthcare, educational, and hospitality clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Install manual and motorized retractable shade systems in residential and commercial settings.
• Accurately measure and complete installations according to order specifications.
• Test and verify functionality of all installed products.
• Safely load, operate, and maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Follow company installation standards and safety protocols on all job sites.
• Document installation activities and submit required reports.
• Troubleshoot and repair shade products as needed.
• Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on proper use.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Prepare work vehicles each day with required materials, parts, and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant field experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical skills and ability to perform basic electrical work.
• Proficient in reading measurements, fractions, and basic math.
• Own and maintain a personal tool belt with cordless drill/impact driver and standard hand tools.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks (standing, climbing, kneeling, crawling).
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Schedule

• Full-time: Monday – Friday.
