Build a Career with the Nation's Most Respected Andersen Certified InstallerAbout Acre Windows & Doors
Acre Windows & Doors is one of the longest-standing and most respected Andersen Certified Installers in the country. With over 100 years of combined team experience, we have built our reputation on exceptional craftsmanship, consistent professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to doing the job right. We install the most recognized window and door brand in the industry — and we hold ourselves to standards that match it.
We are growing, and we are looking for the right person to grow with us.
The Opportunity
This is not just an installer position — it is a career path.
We are hiring a skilled, motivated installer to join one of our established crews as a strong number two. From day one, you will work alongside experienced professionals, sharpen your craft, and take on increasing responsibility. For the right candidate, the clear next step is Lead Installer — running your own crew, owning your own jobs, and building a long-term career with a company that has the reputation and volume to back it up.
If you are experienced, coachable, and hungry to advance, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
- Perform high-quality residential window and door installations — replacement and new construction
- Pick up materials each morning from our warehouse (everything you need is provided daily)
- Drive to job sites and execute installations to Acre's exacting standards — on time, every time
- Modify existing openings and complete interior and exterior trim work
- Caulk, cap, and finish installations to a clean, professional result
- Maintain a safe, organized job site throughout the day and leave it clean upon completion
- Conduct pre- and post-installation inspections to ensure quality and customer satisfaction
- Communicate professionally with homeowners on-site and collect payment upon job completion
- Operate ladders, scaffolding, and lifts as needed (lift operation preferred but not required)
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, shows up ready to perform, and has their eye on what comes next. Specifically, we are looking for:
- Proven window and/or door installation experience — this is required
- A team-first mindset: you work well alongside others and make the crew better
- Coachability: you take feedback seriously and are committed to continuous improvement
- Leadership potential: you are not just looking for a job — you want to grow into running your own crew
- Professionalism on job sites and in front of customers at all times
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
Requirements
- Window and/or door installation experience (required)
- Carpentry skills including proficiency with power tools
- Your own tools
- Valid driver's license and reliable truck or transportation
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical stamina — this is hands-on, active work
- Flexibility with schedule as job demands require
- Strong communication skills with both the team and homeowners
