Reports to: Director of Institutional Giving
Position Overview:
Resource Center is seeking a detail-oriented, mission-driven Institutional Giving Coordinator to support our foundation, corporate and government fundraising efforts. Working under the supervision of the Director of Institutional Giving and in close collaboration with the Individual Giving Coordinator, this position helps maintain smooth development operations and consistent stewardship across all donors.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Grants & Institutional Fundraising Support:

Conduct prospect research for institutional funders, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies.

Track deadlines and coordinate initial timelines for proposals and reports.

Gather and prepare supporting materials (e.g. budgets, program stats, board lists, 990s).

Draft and edit smaller grant applications and reports (grants $10K and under).

Assist with scheduling meetings and site visits, and preparing materials for funder briefings.

Maintain digital files and templates for grant proposals and attachments.
- Contribute to cross-departmental systems for collecting outcomes, impact stories, and service data.
Database & Development Operations:

Enter and track grant records, deadlines and funder interactions in the donor CRM (EveryAction).

Support gift entry, donor acknowledgements, and reporting in coordination with the Individual Giving Coordinator.

Help ensure timely, accurate stewardship and donor communications for institutional funders.

Assist with mailings, event preparation, and administrative tasks across the development team as needed.

Participate in meetings and learning opportunities to grow knowledge of LGBTQIA+ equity, fundraising best practices, and nonprofit operations.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:-
1-2 years of relevant nonprofit, fundraising, or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Clear written communication skills and ability to work with multiple departments.

Familiarity with donor databases (EveryAction or similar) a plus.

Passion for LGBTQIA+ justice, health equity, and community-centered work.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
