What You Will Be Doing

• Constructing precise Academic Data Reports and performing methodical analysis to identify issues, highlight irregularities, and initiate corrective action within 48 hours
• Delivering immediate-response coaching calls and facilitating post-assessment sessions to eliminate obstacles, distinguish knowledge deficits from simple mistakes, and sustain student engagement
• Assessing and integrating new educational platforms and materials while prototyping AI/LLM solutions to advance instructional methods and address targeted problems
• Collaborating with leadership to optimize tools, dashboards, and mastery benchmarks as the AI tutor platform advances

What You Won't Be Doing

• Attending marathon meetings or producing generic presentation decks disconnected from measurable results
• Grading assignments, drafting lesson plans, or administering conventional educational programs-AI and innovation are the core of our approach
• Working at the strategic level without execution or becoming mired in repetitive tasks-this position demands hands on engagement and agility

Instructional Designer Key Responsibilities

Accelerate student learning outcomes via AI-powered analysis and live academic intelligence, evidenced by improved indicators such as 2 learning velocity, app engagement, lesson comprehension, response accuracy, and diminished negative learning behaviors throughout the Alpha Anywhere network.

Basic Requirements

• Proven experience in data science or equivalent field, education, EdTech, or student-support capacity combining analytical and interpersonal dimensions
• Competence with Google Sheets data analysis (lookups, pivot tables, filtering)
• Elevated emotional intelligence, excellent communication abilities, and a kid-friendly coaching approach
• Track record creating workflows and automations using AI

Nice-to-have Requirements

• Foundation in learning science, educational theory, or proven success enhancing outcomes via data-driven methodologies
• Familiarity with Generative AI, prompting strategies, and foundational coding knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.) for interacting with AI APIs

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
