The campus provides modern, well-equipped facilities for the career technical education programs as well as for the college transfer programs. Approximately 4,000 students comprise the student body.

The people employed by New River Community College embrace the philosophy that all individuals should have an opportunity to develop and extend their skills and knowledge to increase awareness of their roles and duties as citizens. • Consultation and training: Conduct one-on-one consultations, group workshops, and professional development sessions for faculty on the effective use of instructional technologies and learning management systems (LMS).
  • Project management: Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders, timely delivery, and a focus on established learning objectives.
  • Technology integration: Research, evaluate, and recommend new educational technologies and applications that align with pedagogical goals and institutional priorities.
  • Accessibility and equity: Stay current on best practices and legal requirements for course accessibility, such as ADA standards, to ensure all course materials and resources are accessible to all.
  • Evaluation and improvement: Implement evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness of instructional materials and training programs. Use feedback and performance data to inform revisions and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong working relationships with academic departments, information technology services, and student support services to support institutional initiatives.
