Position Summary
This position performs a variety of instructional design functions related to the planning, development, and delivery of courses. This position provides subject matter experts (SMEs) with course design support in creating effective and engaging learning environments informed by desired learning outcomes. The role involves consulting with individuals from diverse disciplines to identify course goals and applicable evidence-based instructional strategies. An area of focus will be the integration of innovative online and technology-enhanced course components to enhance learning across different delivery modes. The position will also provide pedagogical training/tutorials/tools/templates to course developers regarding topics related to online teaching, the Canvas LMS, course design, and integration of instructional technology. This position researches instructional design theories and new academic technologies/tools for applicability.
