Job Title: Instructor – Electrical
Location: Tariq Road Campus, Karachi
Department: Academics / Technical Training
Reports To: Institute Manager
Job Purpose:
To deliver high-quality technical training in the Electrical trade, ensuring students acquire practical and theoretical skills as per THF curriculum standards. The Instructor will be responsible for developing students’ employability skills and maintaining discipline and safety in the workshop and classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Training Delivery:
- Conduct theory and practical classes as per the prescribed syllabus and lesson plans.
- Demonstrate electrical equipment, tools, and techniques effectively.
- Ensure students’ active participation and understanding during training sessions.
- Incorporate safety practices and promote awareness of safe working procedures.
2. Curriculum Implementation:
- Follow THF-approved training modules, lesson plans, and assessment criteria.
- Assist in developing and updating course materials and practical exercises.
- Maintain training equipment and tools in good working condition.
3. Student Assessment and Development:
- Evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, and practical assessments.
- Provide constructive feedback and mentoring to improve student learning outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain student progress reports, attendance, and discipline records.
4. Workshop and Resource Management:
- Ensure proper utilization of training materials and maintain inventory.
- Report maintenance or repair needs of tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
5. Coordination and Support:
- Collaborate with other instructors and staff to enhance training quality.
- Participate in meetings, professional development, and institute activities.
- Support placement and career guidance initiatives for graduating students.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: DAE (Electrical) or B.Tech / B.E in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of relevant teaching/training or industry experience.
- Certification: Preferably certified in vocational or competency-based training (e.g., NVQF/CBT).
- Computer Skills: Basic MS Office proficiency.

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
