Instructor - Graphic Designing

Job purpose

Responsible for providing quality instructions to students regarding computer graphics & designing through well prepared classes, relevant assignments, fair and holistic assessment of learning, clear documentation of student progress, and support of the academic success.

Duties and responsibilities

· Prepare and update course plans every semester.

· Design effective session plans at least a week prior and submit to the line manager for approval.

· Implement and conduct planned and schedule theory and practical academic sessions.

· Prepare and check formative assessments / examination papers.

· Participate in curriculum development and all academics related tasks in order to improve teaching and learning standards.

· Mark students’ daily course attendance on the portal and keep a follow up of absentees.

· Work on students’ overall grooming and personal development and prepare them for the local industry.

· Maintain personal (instructor) folder/file as per the given format in an organized manner and ensure all documents are properly maintained.

· Ensure compliance of code of conduct, company’s policies and refrain from disciplinary issues.

· Provide support to all the faculty members as well as admin staff as and when needed.

· Participate actively in admission campaign drive and other activities for the benefit of the organization and students.

· To familiarize students with Terminologies and Tools

· To Develop Design Concept

· Analyze Cost Effective Solution

· Photo editing and graphics development

· Preparing pre-press job

· Perform software and hardware maintenance

· Communicate with others

· Duties and rights at a work place

Qualifications

· Certificate, Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or other related fields.

· At least 3 years of work experience in the field.

· Fluent in multiple programming languages (including HTML and CSS); web design content management system platforms, such as WordPress; and digital design software

· At least 2 years of teaching experience or mentoring role.
