Job Purpose

To effectively train and mentor students in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) technology, ensuring they acquire the technical skills and practical knowledge required to excel in the field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training Delivery:
  • Conduct theory and practical training sessions for HVACR students as per the curriculum.
  • Ensure adherence to standardized training methodologies and safety protocols.
  • Course Development:
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating the HVACR curriculum and teaching materials.
  • Incorporate modern technologies and techniques into training modules.
  • Skill Assessment:
  • Evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and examinations.
  • Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning outcomes.
  • Equipment Management:
  • Ensure proper maintenance and use of HVACR lab tools and equipment.
  • Report any repair or replacement requirements for machinery or tools.
  • Industry Collaboration:
  • Coordinate with industry partners to arrange internships and on-the-job training opportunities for students.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate them into training.
  • Student Mentorship:
  • Counsel and guide students on career opportunities in the HVACR field.
  • Address student concerns and maintain a positive learning environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in HVAC Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of industry experience in HVACR systems; prior teaching experience is a plus.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., EPA, NATE) are preferred.
