Role Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Instrument and Control Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves designing instrumentation and control systems for oil & gas and petrochemical projects, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with industry standards. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely while attending key meetings and site visits near Nagercoil.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design and develop instrumentation and control systems for oil & gas and industrial facilities.

· Prepare and review P&IDs, instrument index, I/O lists, and loop diagrams.

· Develop specifications and datasheets for field instruments, control valves, and analyzers.

· Design control system architectures including PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, Block diagram ,Loop diagram, layouts, etc.

· Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (ISA, IEC, API, etc.).

· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including process, electrical, and mechanical engineers.

· Review vendor documents and coordinate technical discussions with suppliers.

· Support FEED and detailed design phases of projects.

· Provide technical assistance during procurement, installation, and commissioning.

· Participate in HAZOP studies and design reviews to ensure safety and reliability.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control Systems, or Electronics Engineering.

· 3–8 years of experience in instrumentation and control design for oil & gas or petrochemical projects.

· Proficiency in instrumentation design tools and software, SPI, AutoCAD.

· Strong knowledge of international instrumentation codes and standards (ISA, IEC, API).

· Experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA system design.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

· Experience in reviewing vendor drawings and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,700,000.00 per year
