Job Summary
The Instrument Helper assists Instrument Technicians in the installation, maintenance, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial instrumentation and control systems. The role involves supporting field activities, handling tools and materials, maintaining work areas, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Instrument Technicians with installation and maintenance of instruments and control equipment.
- Carry tools, equipment, and materials to work locations.
- Help in calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Assist in installing cable trays, conduits, tubing, and instrument supports.
- Clean, inspect, and maintain instrumentation equipment and work areas.
- Support instrument loop checking and commissioning activities.
- Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Identify and report equipment defects or unsafe conditions.
- Assist in dismantling and reassembling instruments during maintenance activities.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in workshops and field locations.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, matriculation, or equivalent.
- Technical/vocational training in instrumentation is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of industrial tools and equipment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial environments.
Pay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs45,000.00 per month
