Instrumentation Designer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Instrumentation Designer with 4–5 years of relevant industry experience in Refinery / Oil & Gas / Industrial / EPC projects.

The candidate will be responsible for preparation and modification of instrumentation drawings, coordination with engineering disciplines, and supporting design engineers to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.

Diploma holders are welcome, provided they have strong hands-on experience in instrumentation design. Candidates based in Gurgaon or nearby locations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify Instrumentation drawings including:
• Instrument Index
• Instrument Location Layouts
• Hook-up Drawings
• Loop Diagrams
• Cable Schedule & JB Layouts
• Read and interpret P&IDs, control philosophies, and specifications.
• Update drawings as per engineer mark-ups, client comments, and site feedback.
• Coordinate with Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, and Civil teams.
• Assist in preparation of MTO / BOQ for instruments and accessories.
• Maintain drawing registers and document revision control.
• Support engineering teams during site execution and commissioning phases (if required).
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and quality requirements.

Experience & Qualification

• Diploma / ITI / B.Sc / B.Tech in Instrumentation or relevant discipline
• 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Instrumentation Design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Strong understanding of industrial instrumentation systems
• Experience in EPC / refinery / process industry projects preferred
• Candidates from Gurgaon or nearby NCR region will be given preference

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
