Responsibilities:

• Ensure full compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and site safety procedures
• Lead and supervise field instrumentation activities across plant operations and shutdowns
• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot process instrumentation and control systems
• Supervise execution quality of instrumentation works during major shutdowns and planned maintenance
• Own instrumentation reliability performance and support defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives
• Plan, execute, and optimize preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance for instrumentation systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults related to PLC, SCADA, DCS, and associated field instrumentation
• Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, control drawings, and technical documentation
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Projects teams to ensure effective execution
• Ensure accurate maintenance records, calibration reports, and technical documentation are maintained
• Support internal projects by providing instrumentation expertise during design review, site execution, commissioning, and handover, ensuring safe integration and long-term reliability of plant systems

Qualification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Instrumentation, Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
• Formal training or certification in industrial instrumentation, calibration, and control systems is preferred
• Good working knowledge of process plant instrumentation and control systems
• Understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards and site safety management systems
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, cause & effect charts, and control drawings
• Familiarity with plant maintenance systems (e.g., SAP PM / CMMS) is an advantage

Experience and Skills Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ hands-on experience in field instrumentation maintenance within mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial environments
• Supervisory-level experience leading field instrumentation activities during operations, breakdowns, and major shutdowns
• Strong hands-on expertise in calibration, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance of process instrumentation
• Proven experience with pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments
• Solid working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and DCS systems and their interface with field instrumentation
• Demonstrated ownership of instrumentation reliability performance, including defect elimination and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, cause & effect charts, and control drawings
• Experience supporting internal Capex and Opex projects, including site execution and commissioning
• Strong safety leadership with experience working under permit-to-work, isolation, and risk assessment systems
• Effective communication and coordination skills to work with Operations, Maintenance, Reliability, and Projects teams
