Senior MEP Engineer / Building Services Engineer
Client: An Oil & Gas reputed international group with a well established presence in India and GCC in the hydrocarbon sector.
Location: To be discussed. Can be India or Doha, Qatar.

Leads Building Services design (Mechanical, Electrical/Instrumentation and Plumbing/Piping) & execution aspects for Industrial Plant & Non-Plant Buildings for Hydrocarbon Industry Projects. Compliance of the design to International Codes & Standards, Safety requirements, Sustainability requirements and Client Specifications

Key Responsibilities
The candidate should have good hands-on experience in preparing conceptual & detail layouts / drawings for all the required Building Services which include Mechanical, Electrical/Instrument, Plumbing and specialized Piping works (Compressed Air, Medical Gas, Fuel Oil distribution, etc.) as required for Industrial Buildings.
The candidate should also be able to prepare required detail design calculations for all the Building MEP items such as HVAC, Electrical/Instrumentation, Drainage, Plumbing and specialized Piping works (Compressed Air, Medical Gas, Fuel Oil distribution) as required.
Guide the MEP Team for Interfacing, Coordination, Resolution of issues and other aspects amongst different functional disciplines.
Manage the Engineering teams, mentor Engineers, and resolve complex design issues.
Ensure compliance to International Codes & Standards viz. ASHRAE, NFPA, IEC, ISO, LEED/BREEAM, etc.
Discuss with Clients, Consultants, and Authorities for necessary Project and Statutory approvals of Building Services.
Supervise Installation, Testing, and Commissioning of the Building Services.
Exposure to Building Services design for different Buildings viz. Substation, Control Room, Administration Building, Laboratory Building, Maintenance Workshop, Security Buildings, etc. along with know-how of requirements of key Equipment and services such as Compressed Air, Medical Gas, Fuel Oil distribution, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical or Electrical or Civil Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in MEP Engineering. Major exposure to International Projects shall be preferred.
Chartered Engineer or additional Certifications shall be preferred.
Skills
Expertise in AutoCAD, MicroStation, HAP, Revit, BIM, and simulation tools.
Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
Advanced knowledge of sustainable design and smart building systems
