Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems.
  • Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure timely restoration of plant equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain field instruments such as transmitters, sensors, pressure/temperature instruments, and control loops.
  • Work with Gas Analysers, VFDs, Auto Packers, Roto Packers, Weigh-feeders, Pneumatic Equipment, Networking Systems, and I/O modules.
  • Conduct spare parts testing, evaluation, and perform in-house repairs when possible.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
  • Follow all plant safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Handle shift maintenance activities independently and coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation.
  • 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in the cement industry (mandatory).
  • Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, automation components, and industrial control systems used in cement plants.
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Hands-on experience in calibration, repair, and maintenance of industrial instrumentation.
  • Ability to work independently, especially during shift operations.
  • Good communication, teamwork skills, and strong adherence to safety protocols.
