Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems.
- Diagnose faults, perform repairs, and ensure timely restoration of plant equipment.
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments such as transmitters, sensors, pressure/temperature instruments, and control loops.
- Work with Gas Analysers, VFDs, Auto Packers, Roto Packers, Weigh-feeders, Pneumatic Equipment, Networking Systems, and I/O modules.
- Conduct spare parts testing, evaluation, and perform in-house repairs when possible.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities.
- Follow all plant safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Handle shift maintenance activities independently and coordinate with operations and other maintenance teams as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- ITI or Diploma in Instrumentation.
- 6 to 8 years of relevant experience in the cement industry (mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation systems, automation components, and industrial control systems used in cement plants.
- Proven ability in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Hands-on experience in calibration, repair, and maintenance of industrial instrumentation.
- Ability to work independently, especially during shift operations.
- Good communication, teamwork skills, and strong adherence to safety protocols.
