Job Summary

To efficiently perform installation & commissioning of mechanical and projects installations within KDD in accordance with KDD as well as international standards and norms.

Key Accountabilities

• Ensure high-quality mechanical installation, commissioning, testing, and validation of piping systems and fittings of various materials within KDDC.
• Deliver effective insulation and cladding works for piping systems in compliance with dairy industry standards and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control requirements throughout all mechanical activities.
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and KDD safety standards at all times.
• Support smooth project execution by coordinating effectively within the project team and following management directives.
• Ensure workplace organization and housekeeping standards are consistently maintained through 5S methodology.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, alignment, testing, and commissioning of mechanical piping systems and related fittings.
• Carry out insulation works and cladding for piping systems using different material types.
• Interpret assembly instructions and ensure correct parts, tools, and materials are available before execution.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
• Build and dismantle scaffolding safely when required for site operations.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, reach truck, scissor lift, and genie boom (if certified/assigned).
• Follow all required permits before starting work, including Hot Work Permits and Working at Height permits.
• Perform additional site duties as assigned, such as gas cylinder handling, painting, and weekly cleaning tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment at all times.
• Report issues, progress, and site requirements to supervisors or project engineers.
• Support continuous improvement by applying 5S principles in daily work activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with company rules, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements within Kuwait.
  
  

Requirements

• Must hold a valid Trade Certificate in a relevant mechanical field.
• Must have proven experience working on project-based mechanical installation or maintenance activities.
• Should possess strong hands-on technical skills in piping, fitting, insulation, and related mechanical works.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, instructions, and site requirements.
• Must be capable of working in a practical/site assessment to verify technical competency and skill level.
• Strong awareness and adherence to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
