Insurance coder

Al Taie Center is seeking an experienced Insurance Coder to join our healthcare team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3–4 years of hands-on experience as an Insurance Coder in the UAE healthcare sector, possess a valid UAE residence visa (Own Visa), and be available for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and code medical diagnoses, procedures, and treatments accurately according to approved coding standards.
• Submit insurance claims and ensure compliance with insurance company requirements and healthcare regulations.
• Verify patient insurance eligibility, coverage, and authorization requirements.
• Follow up on claim rejections, denials, and resubmissions to maximize claim approvals.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments regarding coding and billing matters.
• Ensure accurate documentation and coding to support reimbursement processes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UAE insurance regulations, coding standards, and payer requirements.
• Generate reports and assist in revenue cycle management activities.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with healthcare and insurance policies.

RequirementsMandatory Requirements

• Minimum 3–4 years of proven experience as an Insurance Coder in a healthcare facility within the UAE.
• Must have a valid UAE residence visa (Own Visa).
• Must be available for immediate joining.
• Strong knowledge of medical coding, insurance claims processing, and UAE healthcare insurance regulations.
• Experience handling claim submissions, rejections, and resubmissions.
• Proficiency in healthcare information systems and insurance portals.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Important Note

• Only candidates with actual UAE experience as an Insurance Coder will be considered.
• Candidates with experience gained outside the UAE only, or those with training experience only, will not be considered.
