Tulsa City Dental is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Insurance Coordinator to join our growing private practice.

This role is critical to the financial health and stability of our office. We are looking for someone who takes ownership, follows through consistently, and understands that accuracy and timely follow-up directly impact patient experience and revenue.

Position Overview

The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring insurance accuracy, claim processing, and accounts receivable follow-up are handled efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities Include:

• Verifying dental insurance benefits prior to patient appointments
• Submitting insurance claims daily with proper documentation
• Posting and allocating insurance payments accurately
• Working and maintaining Accounts Receivable (AR) reports
• Following up on outstanding claims and appeals
• Communicating insurance benefits and patient balances clearly
• Coordinating with clinical and front office teams
• Maintaining accurate records and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Dental insurance experience preferred
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High level of accountability and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Positive, team-oriented mindset
