Our fast paced insurance office is looking to fill an insurance sales agent and customer service position. This position is full time, working with new and existing clients needing insurance quotes, policy changes, or coverage reviews. This position offers a base salary + commission opportunities.

Full Job Description:

Darfler Insurance Inc is looking to hire highly motivated individuals who are coachable, have a strong work ethic and excel in a competitive sales environment. We are looking for someone who is excited to have a long-term career where they can grow with one of the fastest growing agencies in the state!

As an Insurance Customer Service Sales Agent, your primary role is to achieve agency growth through property and casualty insurance service and sales. You will help grow the agency by processing customer policy change requests, complete Evidence of Insurance requests/ handle incoming claim calls from customers, document each customer contact, take premium payments, treat each customer contact as a time to review the clients policy and inform them of new carrier coverage offerings, taking every phone call to a sales opportunity, verify phone numbers, addresses and email addresses, update customer information.

Qualifications Needed in Order to Apply:

  • Property & Casualty license is preferred, if not licensed, must be willing to obtain prior to start date. Don’t worry we can guide you through the process. ***Process can take 2-3 weeks to obtain licensing.
  • Prior Sales Experience
  • Insurance experience is preferred but not required
  • Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability and ethical behavior
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
  • Proficient in technology with stellar computer skills
  • Must be highly motivated, coachable, determined with a positive attitude
  • Must be able to problem solve, be adaptable and must possess ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of Sales Agent:

  • Primary Responsibility is to serve new and existing customers as well as quote and close business for agency growth.
  • Build customer relationships through rapport and consistent follow up with prospects.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer support and sell new policies based on our agency value proposition.
  • Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.
  • Take every phone call to a sales opportunity.
