Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Insurance Defense Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of law, including general, premises , and products liability. Duties
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for the following:

  • Conducting legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy.
  • Drafting legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts with precision and attention to detail.
  • Representing clients in negotiations and litigation across multiple practice areas, including landlord-tenant law, personal injury law, workers' compensation law, and securities law.
  • Advising clients on legal rights and obligations related to estate planning, tribal law & regulations, environmental issues, and other relevant matters.
  • Collaborating with senior attorneys on complex cases while managing a caseload independently.
  • Maintaining organized case files and ensuring compliance with all legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Participating in client meetings to discuss case strategies and provide updates on legal proceedings.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar association.
  • Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research methodologies and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to advocate for clients effectively.
  • Excellent writing skills with experience in legal drafting.
  • Familiarity with litigation processes across various practice areas is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
