Insurance Defense Attorney (San Diego - HYBRID REMOTE)

Distinguished, 10-attorney insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced CALIFORNIA BODILY INJURY DEFENSE Litigation Attorneys to join their SAN DIEGO or FRESNO offices. (This position can be HYBRID REMOTE - you can work from home 2-3 days per week!).

Should have significant experience with CA Bodily Injury Defense or Plaintiff's Personal Injury cases, namely Motor Vehicle Accidents, Premises Liability and other General Liability issues. We primarily handle car accidents, trucking, premises liability and other general liability matters.

***IDEAL Candidates have 2 + years experience with CA Bodily Injury Defense Litigation or other insurance defense cases; however, we WILL consider 1st year associates with impressive resumes***

DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, review and analysis of medical records/bills to identify damages, deposition prep, depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials client phone calls, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same. Should also have trial experience or at least "trial prep" experience.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year
