Job Purpose

Insurance Manager will oversee all aspects of the organization’s insurance activities, including risk assessment, policy management, claims processing, and compliance. The role requires strategic planning, negotiation skills, and thorough knowledge of insurance laws and practices to minimize risk and maximize protection for the organization.

Report To Position Name

• Evaluate organizational risks and recommend suitable insurance policies.

• Manage and negotiate insurance contracts, renewals, and claims with providers.

• Analyze data to assess the adequacy of existing insurance coverage.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain accurate records.

• Develop and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.

• Lead and manage the insurance team, providing training and support as necessary.

• Act as the main point of contact for insurance brokers, auditors, and legal advisors.

• Handle claims processing, ensuring timely resolution and appropriate settlements.

• Prepare and present reports to senior manager regarding insurance matters.
