JOB DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for providing excellent attention to detail of assigned clients and/or policies, while working closely with Account Managers, Account Executives and Producers.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Negotiate with multiple insurance carriers to provide comprehensive coverage options for prospect’s proposals, while conforming to laws, regulations and requirements governing the insurance industry.
- Includes practice specialists, as needed throughout the business development process to best manage prospect’s risk exposure.
- Works with Producers as appropriate to grow and expand referral sources.
- Incorporates and regularly practices techniques introduced through Sales Training to continuously enhance skills and related performance.
- Uses Epic to complete funnel and other internal information tracking reports as required.
- Uses the Epic System in an accurate and timely manner to enter and maintain all account information.
- Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures.
- Create Hotaling Proposals
- Assist Producers in presenting proposals when needed
- Reviews and interprets carrier contract language to deliver optimal client coverage recommendations.
- Complete all task/duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have working knowledge of agency management software, insurance rating Software and Microsoft Office
- Must have a working knowledge of PURE, AIG, Chubb, Cincinnati, and Berkley One
- Must have excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- Ability to self-direct the completion of job duties
