- Drive the development and changes of the existing offered Insurance products and features to maintain the Bank’s competitive edge among competition in local markets and increase market share.
- Implement the business plan for the Insurance products under management in terms of product strategy, financial projections and profitability.
- Conduct and analyze all requested marketing researches, gap analysis and competitive studies by having a close monitoring over the market behavior.
- Manage the launching of new Insurance products while ensuring having a product suit that address customer segments and needs.
- Support the Distribution team through conducting regular training and field visits, while availing all kinds of communication to Identify and resolve any arising challenges
- Support the Insurance Product Head in providing portfolio and sales performance analysis to identify specific challenges and gaps through capturing and analyzing essential customer & competitors’ information.
- Manage the customer attrition & implement customer retention strategies to maintain & enhance customer loyalty
- Summarize the profitability report for the Insurance products monthly in alignment with the Insurance Product Head, Treasury, Risk and Finance departments.
- Manage the relationship with the relevant Banc-assurance partners and all other insurance companies in contract to ensure optimum service excellence.
- Work closely with the Insurance Product Head to obtain all required internal approvals from legal, risk, compliance and operational risk in order to activate new business with new partners
- Review thoroughly the monthly bill for each line of insurance service and send it to the relevant insurance partners in addition to the non-life & Life policies for the SBL product and SMEs clients.
- Liaise with the relevant stakeholders on any product enhancements or policy changes required and ensure managing a successful UAT for any new feature / product before its implementation.
- Supervise the activities and work of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area is carried out in an efficient manner and in compliance with the set policies, processes and procedures.
- Implement approved department policies, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Supervise the team to implement the day-today operations assigned for the department to ensure compliance with the established policies and procedures.
- Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree of Commerce, Business Administration, Accounting or its equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant Banking experience in Product Development, Risk or Financial positions.
- Knowledge of acquisition & Risk management principles is a plus.
