Insurance Sales Representative – Life & Financial Protection

Responsibilities

  • Engage with prospective clients through outside sales efforts, including community outreach, networking events, and telemarketing campaigns to generate leads and build a robust client base.
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis by listening carefully to clients’ financial goals and concerns, then recommend appropriate life and financial protection products.
  • Negotiate policy terms and coverage options with clients, ensuring clarity and mutual understanding while aligning solutions with their budgets and objectives.
  • Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, maintaining detailed client records, and following up on policy inquiries efficiently.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to promote insurance products through various channels, increasing brand awareness and client engagement.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, explaining policy benefits clearly, and guiding clients through the enrollment process.
  • Stay informed about industry regulations, including HIPAA compliance when handling sensitive health information, to ensure ethical and legal standards are met.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills combined with outstanding communication abilities to effectively articulate product benefits and address client concerns.
  • Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse client populations effectively.
  • Strong analysis skills for assessing client needs and tailoring insurance solutions accordingly.
  • Familiarity with sales administration processes and CRM tools for managing customer data efficiently.
  • Knowledge of insurance sales practices, benefits administration, marketing strategies, and customer service principles.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a team environment; self-motivated with a proactive attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $55,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
