We are looking for a Insurance Unit Manager to join our team.


Key Responsibilities


  • Identify insurance needs based on the company’s operations, assets, and risk profile.
  • Monitor and manage existing insurance policies, ensure timely renewals, and implement necessary updates.
  • Conduct negotiations with insurance providers, obtain quotations, compare offers, and finalize policy agreements.
  • Select and implement the most suitable insurance policies in line with the company’s requirements.
  • Coordinate with insurance companies in case of claims; manage claim files and oversee compensation processes.
  • Take proactive measures to mitigate risks and enhance insurance awareness within the organization.
  • Monitor and control insurance-related costs; contribute to budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant insurance legislation and regulatory obligations.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on insurance risks, policy coverage, and claims to senior management.
  • Manage and support the performance of team members reporting to this role.
  • Develop long-term insurance and risk management strategies aligned with corporate goals.
  • Ensure the accuracy and up-to-date status of valuation reports to prevent underinsurance.
  • Collaborate with key shareholders and affiliated companies on insurance planning and coordination.
  • Organize and implement initiatives to raise insurance awareness among all internal and external stakeholders.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Insurance or a related field,
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in insurance and risk management, preferably in a corporate environment,
  • Strong knowledge of insurance products, corporate risk assessment, and claims handling processes,
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills,
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken),
  • Proficiency in MS Office and insurance management software.
