Integrated Command & Control Center Project Manager

The ICCC Project Manager is responsible for planning and delivering Integrated Command & Control Center (ICCC) projects, ensuring successful implementation of complex smart city, security, and operational technology solutions.


The role coordinates multiple stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


Project Planning & Delivery

  • Manage end-to-end ICCC project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Define scope, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Ensure alignment with smart city and organizational objectives.


Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with government entities, operators, and partners.
  • Manage multiple vendors and system integrators.
  • Facilitate workshops, status meetings, and steering committees.
  • Ensure effective communication across all stakeholders.


Risk, Issue & Change Management

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Manage issues, dependencies, and change requests.
  • Ensure proper documentation and governance compliance.


Technical & Integration Oversight

  • Oversee integration of ICCC components such as:
  • Video management systems (VMS)
  • IoT and sensor platforms
  • GIS and data platforms
  • Incident and emergency management systems
  • Ensure testing, commissioning, and acceptance activities are completed.


Reporting & Governance

  • Provide regular project status reports and dashboards.
  • Track schedule, budget, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Support procurement, contracts, and audit readiness.

POTENTIAL BACKGROUND


Education:

  • Bachelor’s in engineering, IT, Computer Science, or related field.


Experience:

  • 8–12+ years in project or program management
  • Experience in smart city, security, telecom, or large infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing system integrators and multi-vendor projects


Preferred Certifications:

  • PMP or PRINCE2 (strongly preferred)
  • Agile/Scrum (advantage)


Typical Previous Roles:

  • Technical Project Manager, Program Manager, Smart City Project Manager, Infrastructure Project Manager.
