As an Integrated Solutions Commercial Senior Advisor, you will prepare proposals/bids, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, assess commercial risk, and lead the development of business plans for specific product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all elements of I&S opportunities through the I&S process, ensuring that all Stage and Decision Gate deliverables are met.
- Drive opportunity pursuit and engage stakeholders such as Region Leadership, Commercial Operations, I&S leadership, Product Line teams, technical focal points, and contract partners to build winning proposal or bid strategies.
- Ensure company processes and procedures, including OFSE Sales and Commercial principles and I&S Management System content and tools, are strictly followed.
- Contribute to the development and adherence of I&S processes to document, evaluate and mitigate project risks via the I&S Risk Management Process and tools.
- Draft initial project plans and associated documents (Risk Management Plan, Communications Plan, Sourcing Plan, Vendor Management Plan, early Schedule, Quality Plan, Stakeholder Matrix, RACI matrix, Organizational Structure, and I&S Cost Model).
- Ensure commercial models accurately reflect the most likely return on investment and profitability for Baker Hughes.
- Provide leadership for negotiations with customers, contracted parties, vendors and other relevant parties.
- Perform contract handover using the Service Level Agreement component of the Baker Hughes OFSE Commercial and Operational Framework Agreement during the Project Mobilisation stage to the Project Manager and I&S support teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, commercial or scientific discipline.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in an oil & gas operator or service company.
- Proven track record of leading Integrated Commercial bids.
- 3+ years of experience in Integrated Projects.
- Strong understanding of the upstream business environment, including technical and logistical elements.
- In depth knowledge of Well Engineering, Well Construction, rigs, equipment packages and technical solutions.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, influencing, analytical, decision making and planning skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate within a global matrix organization.
- Significant knowledge of business plans, project planning, project management methodology and proposal/bid creation.
