Qualifications:


  • Civil Engineer with prior experience in integrated public transport systems, including private vehicles, buses, trains, metro, taxis, and electric or manual bicycles.
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transport Planning.
  • Minimum of 10 years of regional and international experience in integrated public transport, preferably within GCC countries.
  • Proficiency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).


Job Description:


  • Develop strategies and plans for integrated public transport aligned with the country's demographic and economic growth.
  • Prepare and oversee the implementation of plans related to integrating public transport modes into one network.
  • Supervise the electronic linkage system for public transport and provide technical support to the team.
  • Manage integrated and sustainable public transport projects and prepare monthly reports on challenges and mitigation measures to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
  • Participate in feasibility studies and assist in preparing terms of reference for integrated public transport projects, including assessing private sector participation opportunities.
  • Review and evaluate topics referred by the department director and assess project economic feasibility.
  • Manage consultants, partners, and contractors daily, measure their performance, monitor outputs, and prepare related reports.
