Integration and Test Engineer

As an Integration and Test Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring that the IT Infrastructure subsystem is implemented, integrated, tested, and verified in accordance with system and subsystem requirements. The role supports the full integration lifecycle of system releases delivered by the IT Infrastructure team, ensuring platform stability, performance, security, and readiness for deployment.

Responsibilities:

· Participate in Agile ceremonies (Sprint planning & Review, Daily, Retrospective)

· Deploy all necessary tools to monitor and troubleshoot the platform

· Installation of hardware equipment (rack cabinet, devices, cabling)

· Patch, update and maintain the integration and test platform

· Define test procedures against the system requirements

· Integrate the system releases

· Raise problem reports to the team

· Produce integration and test reports

· Support the system engineering team during integration and system test activities

· Prepare training materials and conduct training to peers and customers

· Participate in internal and customer technical meetings

· Configuration of the Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment tools

· Document maintenance procedures

· Support for on-site troubleshooting

· Peer review of requirements, specifications, test procedures and manuals (user, administration, maintenance)

· Run vulnerability assessment and contribute to the remediation actions

· Attend site survey visits and prepare site survey reports

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

· Working experience in the following technical environment:

· Operating Systems - Linux: Debian, RedHat

· Virtualization & Containers - VMware, Docker, Kubernetes

· Databases - PostgreSQL, MariaDB

· Networking - Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Fortinet

· CI/CD & Automation - Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab

· Data Centre & Infrastructure - Power systems and UPS / Structured cabling systems (power, coaxial, discreet wiring) / Data and server cabinets / Powerline networks

· Proven experience in IT infrastructure integration, system testing, or system engineering.

· Hands-on experience with Linux systems, virtualization, networking, and data centre environments.

· Experience working in mission-critical or regulated environments.

· Exposure to cybersecurity assessments and remediation.

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery models.

· Willingness to travel or work on-site as required.

· Strong understanding of integration and test methodologies for IT infrastructure systems.

· Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and system integration issues.

· Good documentation and reporting skills.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
