Position Summary

The Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining middleware solutions that enable data exchange between enterprise systems. This role focuses on building and supporting integrations, automation workflows, and SQL-based data processes that support operational systems, applications, and third-party platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop middleware integrations between internal applications and external systems.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data transformations.
  • Support automation workflows and bot processes that interact with portals, APIs, and enterprise systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations and automation processes to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Work with IT, operations, and vendor teams to identify integration requirements and implement solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for data flows, integrations, and automation logic.
  • Assist with performance tuning and infrastructure considerations related to integration workloads.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in SQL development, data integration, or middleware engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server or similar relational databases
  • Experience working with APIs, automation tools, or integration platforms
  • Ability to troubleshoot data flow, automation, and system integration issues
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred

  • Experience integrating healthcare systems, EMRs, or referral platforms
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks or bot platforms
  • Understanding of virtualized environments and system performance impacts on integrations
