Intellectual Property Paralegal – Dubai

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Experience: 2–3 years PQE

Our firm is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Intellectual Property Paralegal to join our dynamic team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional with strong organizational abilities and proven IP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and manage applications for trademarks, patents, and copyrights in the UAE and internationally.
• Conduct clearance searches and prepare reports on availability and registrability.
• Maintain and update IP portfolios, databases, and case management systems.
• Assist lawyers with enforcement actions, oppositions, and disputes.
• Draft correspondence and liaise with government authorities.
• Support in preparing legal documents, contracts, and filings related to IP matters.
• Review of legal documents as required.

Requirements

• 2–3 years’ experience in intellectual property law (preferably with a law firm in the UAE or GCC).
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Paralegal Studies, or related subjects.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is ideal.
• Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in using data management and Legal tools
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
